Gewürztraminer

/ geh-VOORTS-tra-mee-ner / · Also known as Traminer, Traminer Aromatico, Gewürz

The most perfumed grape of all — lychee, roses and ginger.

Gewürztraminer is a pink-skinned, highly aromatic variant of the ancient Traminer grape. It's low in acidity, often high in alcohol and bursting with exotic aromas. In Alsace it makes rich, often off-dry wines and famous late-harvest Vendanges Tardives.
