Melon de Bourgogne

/ meh-LOHN duh boor-GOHN-yuh / · Also known as Muscadet, Melon

The classic oyster wine — crisp, salty and light.

Originally from Burgundy, Melon de Bourgogne found its home near Nantes at the mouth of the Loire, where it makes Muscadet. The wines are light, dry and bracing, and ‘sur lie’ versions rest on their yeast lees for extra texture. Top Crus Communaux age for many years.
