Red grape 🇵🇹 Dão, Portugal

Touriga Nacional

/ too-REE-ga na-see-oh-NAHL / · Also known as Tourigo

Portugal's star grape — inky, floral and built to last.

Touriga Nacional is the most prized grape of the Douro, where it gives Port its colour, structure and perfume. Small berries and thick skins deliver intense dark fruit, firm tannins and a striking floral note of violets. Today it also makes some of Portugal's finest dry reds.
